The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) is all set to commence the Odisha Class 12 board examination 2024 from tomorrow, February 16. According to the Odisha board Class 12 exam date sheet 2024, the higher secondary examination will be concluding on March 20.
Students appearing for the Odisha Class 12 board exams 2024 will have different schedules as per their discipline. While the board exams for the Science students begin on February 16, they will be ending by March 18. The board exams for the Commerce and Arts students will be starting from February 17 and will conclude by March 20. Although the date of declaring the board results has not yet been announced, it is tentative to be released by April or May.

CHSE Odisha Class 12 Board 2024: Timings
As per the notification released by the board, the students appearing for CHSE Class 12 exams will be getting a total of three hours and 15 minutes. Out of which three hours will be given to attempt the questions from 10 AM to 1 PM, while the 15 minutes will be designated as reading time.
CHSE Class 12 Board 2024: Exam Guidelines
According to the official notification, the CHSE board has advised the students to follow certain guidelines to maintain a smooth and convenient functioning of the examination process. Some of the key guidelines are:
— Students must carry their board exam admit card and school ID to the exam center on scheduled dates.
— Students are advised to reach the exam center at least an hour before the scheduled time of the exam.
— Students are strictly instructed to not carry any electronic devices including mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, or any other objectionable items to the center.
— It also instructs the students to do all the rough work on the writing pad (answer book) provided by the invigilator.
— The board mentioned that the exam halls will be housed with AI-powered cameras to keep an eye on the activities of candidates.
Candidates appearing for the exam need to score a minimum of 33 percent in each of the subjects to qualify for the exam. Apart from that, candidates are required to pass both theory and practical exams to qualify for the overall board exam 2024.
