Armed Forces Medical Services B.Sc Nursing: Admission Process, Eligibility And Seats
A total of 220 seats are to be filled by this admission drive. The shortlisting of the candidates for B.Sc Nursing will be done through NEET (UG) scores.

For people who aspire to join the Indian Army, this is a golden opportunity. The Indian Army recently released a notification for admission in the B.Sc Nursing programme under the affiliation of the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMC). According to the official notification, only female candidates can apply for the programme. Interested candidates can apply through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The application process is set to start soon.

The candidates selected after the selection process will qualify for the four-year B.Sc nursing course. A total of 220 seats are to be filled by this admission drive. The shortlisting of the candidates will be done through NEET (UG) scores. Let us look at all the details of the admission drive.

Armed Forces Medical College Pune- 40 seats

Command Hospital (Eastern Command) Kolkata- 30 seats

I.N.H.S. Asvini College of Nursing, Mumbai- 40 seats

Army Hospital Research And Referral- 30 seats

Command Hospital (Central Command) Lucknow- 40 seats

Command Hospital (Air Force) Bangalore- 40 seats

Know the Eligibility criteria here:

Female candidates who are unmarried/ divorced/ legally separated/ widow are eligible to apply for the programme

The candidate should be an Indian Citizen

The candidate should born between 01 Oct 1999 and 30 Sep 2007

Education Qualification:

Candidates who are interested in the Nursing programme must have passed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent on the first attempt with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English. The candidate must pass the Class 12 examination with a minimum percentage of 50 per cent from any recognised board or institution.

Selection Process:

After the completion of the application process, the candidates will be shortlisted based on their NEET (UG) scores. The shortlisted candidate will have to appear for ToGIGE, Psychological Assessment, Interview and Medical examination that will be held at Base Hospital Delhi Cantt. The admit card for the assessment process will be available to download on the official website.
