After spending some quality time with his family in Jammu & Kashmir, batting legend Sachin Tendulkar shared some mesmerising snippets from the memorable trip. Enchanted by the scenic beauty of the place, the Master Blaster penned a heartfelt note on social media platform X, formerly Twitter.
Sachin did not forget to praise the Kashmir Willow. Sachin had visited a bat-manufacturing unit in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district earlier this month. Sachin, along with his wife and daughter, had paid a visit to MJ Sports, a bat manufacturing company.
“Jammu and Kashmir will remain a beautiful experience etched in my memory. There was snow all around but we felt warm because of the people’s exceptional hospitality. Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji said there is so much to see in our nation. Couldn’t agree more, especially after this trip,” Sachin Tendulkar wrote on X.
“The Kashmir Willow bats are great examples of “Make in India, Make for the World.” They have travelled across the globe, and now I recommend people across the globe, and India, to come and experience Jammu & Kashmir, one of the several jewels of Incredible India,” he added.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also reacted to Sachin’s post, highlighting a couple of major takeaways from the batting legend’s family trip to Kashmir.
This is wonderful to see! @sachin_rt’s lovely Jammu and Kashmir visit has two important takeaways for our youth:One – to discover different parts of #IncredibleIndia.
Two- the importance of ‘Make in India.’
Together, let’s build a Viksit and Aatmanirbhar Bharat! https://t.co/YVUlRbb4av

During his visit to Kashmir, Sachin Tendulkar also interacted with Jammu and Kashmir Para cricket team captain Amir Hussain Lone. The duo were involved in a candid conversation and needless to say, Amir was elated to get a chance to meet the India great. Sachin also shared a video of their interaction on social media.
“To Amir, the real hero. Keep inspiring! It was a pleasure meeting you,” read the post shared by Sachin Tendulkar.
