Shan Masood Loses Cool in Dressing Room, Talks Furiously to Coach Gillespie; Fans Hold Babar Azam Responsible: WATCH
CricketNext couldn’t confirm if Masood’s outburst in the dressing room was a reaction to Babar’s misfield but it has taken over social media.

Pakistan captain Shan Masood was spotted having an animated conversation with head coach Jason Gillespie during the ongoing Test against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi. A video has gone viral on internet in which both of them could be seen exchanging a few words in the dressing room while people on social media are linking the chat with Babar’s Azam’s dropped catch on Saturday.

Bangladesh dominated day 4 as Mushfiqur Rahim top-scored with a 191-run knock while Mehidy Hasan Miraz scored 77, taking Bangladesh’s score to 565. During the 142nd over, all-rounder Agha Salman crated a massive opportunity for Pakistan but Babar, stationed at legslip, dropped it. Rahim, who was batting on 150, got another life and went on to add to 41 more runs to his individual score.

CricketNext couldn’t confirm if Masood’s outburst in the dressing room was a reaction to Babar’s misfield or if the video is from day 4 of the ongoing Test match. However, it has taken over social media.

‘If Kohli or Gambhir Scored a Hundred, Someone Surely Got Run-out’

The day belonged to Mushfiqur, who added 114 with Das (56) for the sixth wicket and then a record 194 for the seventh wicket with Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who made a solid 77. Bangladesh’s previous Test best against Pakistan was the 555-6 they made at Khulna in 2015.

Pakistan were 23-1 at the close of play, with Abdullah Shafique on 12 and skipper Shan Masood on nine. The home team trail by 94 runs after making 448-6 declared in the first innings.

Bangladesh, who have lost 12 of the 13 Tests against Pakistan, will hope their spinners can extract some turn from a Rawalpindi pitch that has been unresponsive so far.
