Orange Cap IPL 2024 Update: Rishabh Pant in Top 5, Narine Makes Massive Jump; Check Updated List after DC vs KKR
Sunil Narine's blazing took him among the top 10 run scorers of IPL 2024. Rishabh Pant jumped up 9 places to notch the fourth position.

Kolkata Knight Riders opener Sunil Narine was in a different zone altogether when he walked out to bat against Delhi Capitals on Wednesday. His idea was to smash every ball out of the park and he very well succeeded in his plan.

Narine showcased his batting prowess with a blistering 85 while teenager Angkrish Raghuvanshi impressed with a fluent fifty on his IPL batting debut as KKR posted 272/7, five runs short of the highest total in the tournament’s history. In reply, the Delhi Capitals never looked like they were in the game be it with the ball or the bat. They crumbled under the pressure of the mammoth total.

Skipper Rishabh Pant (55) scored his second consecutive half-century while Tristan Stubbs (54) too hit a fifty but it was a lost cause as DC folded for 166 in 17.2 overs to suffer their third loss of the season.
