Jaffer is known for his witty posts on social media.
Last year, when India were playing the West Indies in a Test series, Jaffer had criticised the pitch with a hilarious touch of humour.
The former India opener sent out a post on X, comparing the Trinidad wicket’s pace with Internet Explorer.
The Microsoft-owned web browser has become an internet sensation for its apparently slow browsing speed.
Needless to say, several Indian cricket fans had found his post to be chucklesome. He had written, “This pitch is the Internet Explorer of cricket pitches”.

Meanwhile, Team India will remember the Ranchi Test for some time to come. The match began with England opting to bat first and being bowled out for 353 runs.
India were able to score 307 runs in reply, and it was all thanks to a crucial 90-run knock from young wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel.
In the second innings, England were curbed to just 145 runs as Ravichandran Aswin picked up a fifer. Kuldeep Yadav trailed close behind the veteran spinner with four wickets of his own.
India stuttered in the chase of 192, losing half their side for 120 before a partnership between Shubman Gill and Jurel sealed the deal.
India had started the series by blowing away a solid lead in the opening Test to lose by 28 runs. In the second Test, Yashashvi Jaiswal scored his maiden Test double ton, guiding India to a series-leveling win.
Jasprit Bumrah was awarded Player of the Match award Test for scalping nine English wickets.
Jaiswal notched up another Test double ton in the third match as India won the game by 434 runs. Ravindra Jadeja was awarded the Player of the Match for scoring 112 runs and taking seven wickets in that Test.
India and England will be playing the final match of the series at Dharamshala, starting from March 7.
