New Delhi: Maruti is showcasing some of its partner Suzuki’s muscle power along with a huge contingent of Swift at the 8th Auto Exposition in New Delhi. Here is a sneak peek at some of its mean machines.

1. With a 1.6-litre engine and a power output of 125 bhp, Swift Sport is a scorcher. What makes this car special is the aggressive front, performance tyres on 16-inch alloys, twin exhausts, Recaro seats and colour coordinated interiors. But don't get your hopes up, as there are no plans to bring this to India as yet.

2. If you want something with a little more grunt and off-road ability then you should try the Suzuki Escudo. Escudo is a complete four-wheel drive and if it comes to India, will give Honda CRV and Hyundai Tuscon a run for their money.

Escudo has a 12-volt power outlet, soft touch cup-holder and ashtray, independent reading lamps and a glass-holder. This muscular five-seater sports utility vehicle has a two-litre, 138 bhp engine. It was launched in Japan in June 2005.

3. Another prime attraction at the exposition is Hayabusa, which has acquired world fame in motor sports. The car has been named after the 180-mph bird of prey Hayabusa. Suzuki also has a bike by the same name. The car has been a leading player in motor sport activity in Japan and rest of Asia in the past few years. The racing car is powered by a 1,299 cc petrol engine and belts out a maximum output of 173 bhp.
