Telugu star Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is currently gearing up for the release of ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ along with Varun Dhawan, on Tuesday made her first public appearance after her fake nude photo went viral on the internet. Samantha avoided posing for the paparazzi as she stepped out of Mumbai airport.
In a video, shared by Snehkumar Zala on Instagram, the actress was seen wearing black sunglasses. She kept it casual for her airport look in black tank top and white joggers. She was also carrying a large tote bag from Louis Vuitton and covered her face with white mask.
Meanwhile, Samantha fell prey to the misuse of deepfake technology after Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif and Rashmika Mandanna. Seemingly reacting to the unfortunate incident, the actress shared a cryptic post on her Instagram handle.
Samantha simply reposted a quote from an Instagram page called ‘conscious_collective’ that read: “The real flex is simply allowing yourself to exist with no need to justify or prove yourself.”
On Sunday, Samantha took to her Instagram stories to share a photo of herself from her therapy session which included far-infrared sauna. For the unversed, Samantha has been battling an auto-immune disease called myositis. Sharing the pic, she wrote in the caption, “Continuously seeking out alternative approaches to healing and recovery.” Along with the update, she listed the benefits of the sauna. “Improved circulation to the muscles, boost metabolism, reduces body fat, increased energy, detoxify the body, reduced cellulite, rejuvenates skin, increased strength, enhanced sweating, lessens joint and muscle pain, and increases flexibility,” she wrote with the picture. However, soon her deepfake began circulating widely alongside this photo, with some netizens even claiming that the actress posted both the images on her Instagram account but deleted them later.
Last week, Samantha Ruth Prabhu announced her new film titled “Bangaram” on the occasion of her 37th birthday. The update came months after “The Family Man 2” star said she would return to work after a seven-month hiatus following her myositis diagnosis in 2022.
