Yet again, the Ola scooter fire-related incident has come into the limelight. This time, the incident has been reported from Pune, where Ola Electrics’ one of the hot-selling products Ola S1 Pro caught fire. It has been reported that the mishap took place near D.Y Patil College in Pimpri Chinchwad.
However, the actual reason behind the incident is not known yet. The company also released an official statement regarding the same, blaming the after-market parts used in the vehicle, which landed the e-scooter in the situation.

As soon as the news spread on the internet, the incident-related video went viral on digital platforms. The Mumbai Mirror also shared the clip on Twitter with a caption, where it wrote “One more incident of an Ola electric scooter catching fire has been reported near the parking lot of D.Y Patil College in Pimpri Chinchwad. This alarming event occurred near the Institute’s parking area, igniting at approximately 8:30 in the morning. Upon receiving the report, the fire brigade swiftly responded, successfully extinguishing the flames. There have been no casualties reported, but the scooter sustained extensive damage.”

In the 37-second long clip, it can be seen a silver-colored Ola S1 Pro turning a big ball of smog after witnessing a fire. As the clip moves further, it shows some firefighters giving a big blow of water and a fire extinguisher to the vehicle, and making the situation under control.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time such incidents have come into the limelight. The fire-related incident in Ola’s electric scooter has been grabbing headlines for quite a long time.
Recently, a parked Ola Electric S1 Pro caught fire in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram. However, the exact reason is still not known yet.
