Report says that Volkswagen might offer 1.5L GT models in Carbon Steel Grey matte colour as well. However, an official confirmation about the same is awaited. 

The German carmaker Volkswagen has been in the news for the past few months, and the major credit goes to the newly introduced GT Edge Limited Collection. Again! the brand is in the limelight, not for any products, but for the latest black color scheme for the top-of-the-line variant Virtus and Taigun 1.0.

Those who have been looking for a new paint scheme, now have the choice  to go for a classy black finish, which looks more aggressive than others. The vehicle can be pre-book from the company-authorized dealership. The same also can be done online via Volkswagen’s official webiste.

1.5L GT Models Upcoming colour Scheme

It has been reported that Volkswagen might offer 1.5L GT models in Carbon Steel Grey matte colour as well. However, an official confirmation about the same is awaited.

Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus Sound Edition

Recently, the company has dropped Sound Edition in the Indian market. It was offered in both Taigun and Virtus at the starting price of Rs 16.33 lakh and Rs 15.52 lakh respectively. To note, the mentioned price ranges are ex-showroom and might fluctuate, depending upon cities and states.

The special editions were introduced so that Indian customers could have a wide range of variants. The edition comes with improved sound quality, sub-woofers and amplifiers.

Engine and Power

Meanwhile, both models are powered by a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, which generates a max power of 111 bhp and 178 Nm of peak torque. The unit is paired with either a 6-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual gearbox.
