The Suzuki is gearing up to add an all-new product to its Indian fleet. It is likely to be sold under the Hustler nameplate. Ahead of the official release, which is expected to take place later this year or at the start of next year, the model has been spied during the testing phase in India.
It has been reported that the upcoming offering from Suzuki is being tested in Delhi, and is likely to be launched under the Maruti Suzuki badge. However, the company has not revealed any official details or hinted about the same as yet.
Design
As per the spy images, the vehicle looks quite similar to the Maruti Suzuki Jimny. It shows an upright front fascia, featuring circular headlamps, c-shaped wheel arches, Thar-inspired taillights, and a massive rear glass panel.
When it comes to the side profile, it seems like the brand has taken some serious inspiration from Jimny as both the models look quite similar. It gets pull-type door handles, roof rails and a decent size quarter panel glass at the C-pillar.
Dimension
As far as the dimension is concerned, the model is already available in the international market and comes with a length of 3,300 mm and a wheelbase of 24,00 mm. It might share the same size as the internation spec.
Rivals
Some rumours claim that once launched under the Maruti Suzuki umbrella, it might replace the ageing Ignis. It will compete against the models like Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter.
