People often showcase various bizarre practices on social media. One such video is gaining attention online. It shows how a woman ends up getting stuff worth thousands of rupees, under a price people can only dream off. The now viral clip is posted on Instagram, which is handled by a shop owner. It starts with a woman customer arriving at the place for some basic shopping. She asks the shopkeeper for a memory card, which is worth Rs 300. When she is told its price, the woman starts her obvious tactic to get everything for free. She tells the shop keeper that she follows him and if she can get a deal for it. The man immediately hands her expensive, branded headphones. She then says to him that she is also a Facebook follower. The man says “alright” and gives her expensive bluetooth earphones. She continues asking if she can get something else, while the man obliges, handing over another set of headphones and a power bank.
The woman then reveals she has shared their reels and posts on her Instagram, which earns her a watch and a bluetooth speaker with mic, in return. So, when she asks for more, the shopkeeper asks, “Aap itna sab leke kaise jayengi (How will you take all this)?” and hands her a blue trolley bag to keep the stuff. Despite the things she was given, she continues her relentless pursuit for more electronics.
The first shopkeeper gives up and directs her to the one standing next to him. He says, “Ab meri baari (It is my turn now),” handing her keys for a Mercedes. The woman finally says, “Kyun mazak kar rahe hain, aap isko rakhiye (Why are you kidding, please keep it).” Hearing this, the first shopkeeper replies, “Shuru kisne kiya tha, madam (Who started it, madam)?”
Netizens express their shock in the replies with sarcastic remarks. The first user wrote, “Accha hua didi ne twitter pe follow nhi kiya (Good thing sister did not follow on Twitter).” A second stated, “Puri dukan dedo na bhai ye sahi hoga (Please give her the whole shop, that would be better).” And a fourth wrote, “Phone ke sath dukan free (Shop is free with the phone).”
