A video that shows a man saving a kid whose head got stuck over a car’s window is going viral and confusing internet users. The undated video shows a man running towards a car and breaking the car’s window with a punch. It is unclear how the child’s head got stuck in the first place but it appears that the car malfunctioned, and the window was probably jammed, hence making it hard to roll it down. It is unclear when and where this photo was taken. Recently, it was posted on X by a popular account named CCTV Idiots. It has over 3.9 lakh views since it was posted on January 10.

The blurry clip was captioned, “The kid got stuck on the window going up.” In the comments, many people wondered why the woman who was next to the child did not pull down the window. Accusing the woman of bad parenting, an X user wrote, “Terrible parenting!!! How did the kid get stuck? Irresponsible supervision is a serious concern.” Another wondered, “Don’t cars have anti-pinching features for windows?”
Many people also appreciated the man for saving the child. An X user praised, “Not all heroes wear Cap… The black T-shirt guy is a hero and his superpower is quick instinct and reaction.” Another asserted, “Fast acting. These moments are terrifying because windows don’t always break like that anymore. The child is very fortunate.”
This is not the first time that a child’s life was endangered by a car’s window. In August last year, a similar video went viral that showed a person accidentally rolling up a car’s window without noticing that the child’s neck got stuck in between. For some reason the person inside the car did roll the window down, forcing a man to break the window’s glass to free the child. In the comments, many people referred to this as “terrible parenting”.

Commenting on this undated CCTV clip, a person wrote, “When she observed the child’s head trapped in the window, the most sensible action was to simply utilize the window button, which she initially used to close it, instead of attempting to forcefully push it down. Common sense isn’t always as widespread as one might hope.”
Another commented, “Lots of people say terrible parenting. It’s a mistake anyone can make! But again, she should have just rolled the window down when she found out.”
