A recent video of a groom bending down and touching his bride’s feet has generated a lot of attention on the internet. The video was shared on February 14, and so far, it has collected nearly 3.2 million views. The video has also amassed over 3 lakh likes and several comments.
An Assamese groom recently set a new standard for all men by touching his bride’s feet during the wedding ceremony. In a video circulating on Instagram, the man identified as Kallol Das bowed down and touched his bride’s feet. The man’s gesture was greeted with great enthusiasm. The bride, on the other hand, appeared to be overwhelmed.
A part of the wedding ritual is shown in the video, where the bride touches the groom’s feet. Following a brief exchange of greetings, the bridegroom touches his wife’s feet in return, eliciting a standing ovation from the guests.
“Peak moment in the wedding. Although I got a lot of criticism from the “society” , I didn’t mean to offend anyone’s views or rituals. Whatever happened, Whatever I did, It was outta respect for my wife,” the groom, Kallol Das captioned the post.
“Sharing this video as it’s one of the happiest moments in the wedding, all our friends and family were part of this. Blessed to be surrounded by such Beautiful People,” Das further added.

Social media users responded to the video with their thoughts as it went viral. Many applauded him for his gesture. They called a real man and said his wife was fortunate to have him.
