According to the latest Forbes list, Livia Voigt's net worth stands at $1.1 billion.

It is indeed a remarkable achievement to become a billionaire at a tender age. There are not many who could be named when talking about young billionaires around the world. While many of them are self-made billionaires, some have their own share of help. In Forbes’ recent list of World Billionaires, the youngest billionaire is just a 19-year-old college student. We are talking about Livia Voigt, one of the largest individual shareholders at WEG, who surpassed Brazil’s Clemente Del Vecchio to become the youngest billionaire in the world.

About the world’s youngest billionaire, Livia Voigt

Livia Voigt is the largest individual shareholder at WEG, an electrical equipment-producing company, which was co-founded by her late grandfather Werner Ricardo Voigt and late billionaires Eggon Joao da Silva and Geraldo Werninghaus.

With an estimated net worth of $1.1 billion (more than Rs 9,100 crore) and a shareholder at WEG, 19-year-old Livia Voigt is still a university student and is not yet a part of the company’s board.

Meanwhile, the list also includes her elder sister, Dora Voigt de Assis who too has a net worth of $1.1 billion. 26-year-old Dora earned an architecture degree in 2020.

It is pertinent to note that Livia won the title of being the youngest billionaire from Italian teenager Clemente Del Vecchio, who is just two months older than her.

World’s second youngest billionaire

Clemente, who is now the second youngest billionaire, however, has more assets than his counterpart with a net worth of $4.8 billion. He is the son of Leonardo Del Vecchio, the owner of EssilorLuxottica, the world’s largest eyeglasses company. After his father’s death in 2022, Clemente inherited a 12.5 per cent stake in his father’s company.

On the other hand, India also joins the Forbes’ rich list with Zerodha founders Nithin and Nikhil Kamath and Flipkart founders Sachin and Binny Bansal making it to the list this year. A total of 200 Indian individuals have made it to the list, rising from the 169 names counted last year.

Other popular names in the list include the likes of Taylor Swift, Steven Spielberg, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, JAY-Z and Oprah Winfrey among others.
