Ellen Hardie, a 23-year-old resident of Essex, England, has been living on cruise ships since 2021 and travelling the world.

Many people around the world are so passionate about adventure that they have no interest in a typical 9-to-5 job. They yearn to travel the world and visit various places, but not everyone is so fortunate. However, many would gladly trade their lives for that of a young woman from England.

She has been living on a cruise ship for the past two years, getting paid to travel. During her time on the ship, she even found a boyfriend. According to a report by The Sun, Ellen Hardie, a 23-year-old resident of Essex, England, has been living on a cruise ship since 2021 and travelling the world. Throughout her time on the cruise, she has visited countries such as Australia, Fiji and Vanuatu.

Ellen Hardie works as a dancer on the ship. In 2022, she joined her first cruise as a dancer and subsequently moved from one cruise to another. Since then, she has remained on the ship, entertaining its 3,000 passengers with her performances. At present, she is on a nine-day cruise.

The most special aspect for Ellen is meeting 28-year-old Lewis on the cruise. Over time, they grew closer and have now fallen in love. Lewis is a deck officer and a member of the ship’s crew. They first met in Singapore. Although Lewis was temporarily assigned to another cruise, he was eventually reposted to the same one where Ellen works. Despite being from different countries, they met because of their jobs on the cruise and are now together.

But the worst thing about being on a cruise is missing home. Ellen Hardie said that she has been away for a long time, and there are many days when she feels incredibly homesick. However, the presence of so many people around her helps to keep her entertained.

Ellen began dancing at the age of 5 and is proficient in jazz, ballet, tap and contemporary dance. She first auditioned for a cruise ship at 19, but her plans were interrupted by the pandemic. Then, in 2022, she unexpectedly received a job offer to dance on a cruise ship. Now, she enjoys being paid to travel and dance. When her contract on the cruise ends, she returns home. At present, she is on a six-month contract.
