This 11-feet Replica Of Ram Mandir Is Magical
As a tribute to the newly inaugurated Ram temple, people showed their devotion by making complex replicas using unconventional materials.

The inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22 ignited tremendous enthusiasm both nationally and globally. In the week leading up to the consecration ceremony, the entire country celebrated this occasion just like a festival. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Yogi Adityanath and others, unveiled the idol of Ram Lalla during the live broadcast, which was witnessed by millions around the world. The venue saw the presence of numerous dignitaries, including Bollywood icons like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal and more. As a tribute to the newly inaugurated temple, people showed their devotion and respect through creations, crafting complex replicas using unconventional materials, including biscuits, matchsticks and diamonds. These diverse and unique artworks are sure to leave you astonished.

1 – Civil engineer Prafull Mategaonkar accomplished a remarkable feat after he created a lifelike replica of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. His model is 11 feet tall, 21 feet long and 10 feet wide, which he proudly displayed in the front yard of his residence. Interestingly, Mategaonkar’s wife, Apurva, was among the youngest karsevaks who participated in the historic 1990 Ram Janmabhoomi movement. Mategaonkar dedicated months to studying the temple’s architecture and used various materials to ensure the authenticity of his replica.

2 – A man from Bengal demonstrated his artistic skills by making a model of the Ram Mandir using 20 kilograms of Parle G biscuits. Alongside the biscuits, the artist, identified as Chhotan Ghosh and his team spent five days building the replica, using materials such as thermocol, plywood and glue. The finished masterpiece was displayed in Durgapur, Bengal. A video shared on X captures the artist’s carefully shaping the beautiful replica of the sacred temple.

3 – A sculptor named Saswat Ranjan from Odisha, showed his skills by creating a replica of the Ram Temple using only matchsticks. The interesting project took him six days to complete and he reportedly used a total of 936 matchsticks. The detailed model measures 14 inches in length and 7 inches in width. Images of Ranjan’s masterpiece were shared on X by ANI. In an interview, the sculptor expressed that creating a smaller replica using matchsticks wouldn’t be a possible task. Ranjan also shared his desire to present the replica to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

4 – National Award winner, Kunj Bihari Singh, from Varanasi, also showcased his exceptional skills by crafting Ram Temple using precious materials such as gold, silver and diamonds. In an interview with ANI, he said, “I along with my brothers made this replica of Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir. The speciality of this Ram temple is that it is made of Gulabi meenakari in 108 days in 108 parts. Gulabi meenakari craft is done with metals like gold and silver.”

Numaish, an All India Industrial Exhibition in Hyderabad, featured a special giant replica of Ayodhya’s Ram temple. Interestingly, the artists who brought this art to life were 90 per cent Muslims, including the project head. Sudhakar Yadav, Guinness Record holder known for Sudha Cars, came up with the idea and dedicated two years to the project at his unit in Bahadurpura, which they mounted on top of a car.
