'Moving Mountains Together': Michelle Obama's Birthday Message For Barack Obama Is Filled With Love And Admiration
"Here’s to weathering all of life’s storms and moving mountains together,” Michelle Obama wrote.

The former US president, Barack Obama, turned 63 on August 4. In a sweet Instagram post, his wife and former first lady Michelle Obama poured him with love. She posted a picture of them from a vacation together at an unidentified place. The duo is seen jokingly pushing a big boulder together against a stunning backdrop. “Happy birthday to the love of my life, @BarackObama! (sic) Here’s to weathering all of life’s storms and moving mountains together,” Michelle captioned the post.

Barack Obama and Michelle Obama first met in 1989 while working at the law firm Sidley Austin in Chicago. Initially, Michelle was hesitant to date Barack because they worked together. It wasn’t until Barack offered to resign from his job to avoid any conflict of interest that Michelle agreed to go on a date with him.

In no time, Michelle Obama’s birthday post for Barack Obama was filled with wishes from admirers and celebrities.

“Happy Birthday, President Obama!!!” wrote Cynthia Bailey, star of Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Comedian Chelsea Handler chimed in, “Best couple ever.”

“Happy Birthday Prez!!!!! “Enjoy your day, king!!!” said Loni Love, a former co-host of Real.

“Happy Birthday President Obama! Best couple,” stated actress Debi Mazar.

Barack Obama and Michelle Obama got engaged in 1991, and the following year, they got married. On July 4, 1998, six years after their wedding, they welcomed Malia into the world. On June 10, 2001, Sasha, their second daughter, was born.

Their family moved to Washington, D.C., just eight years after Barack, who was then the senator from Illinois, was elected as the 44th President of the United States.

Meanwhile, the former president and first lady publicly endorsed Democratic presidential contender and incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris just a week before Barack Obama’s birthday. Their support came after Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the presidential race.

On Friday, July 26, the Harris campaign unveiled a video in which both of them could be heard praising her over the phone.

The whole phone conversation, which went viral, indicates that Barack advised the presidential candidate that she would need to “earn not just the nomination but the trust of folks all across this country” if she was to win in November.
