President Joe Biden and his Republican opponent, Donald Trump, have wrapped up their first debate for the US presidency. Having set a low standard for himself before the discussion, the president stammered and ultimately lost his train of thought. Meanwhile, Trump made various claims that were unsupported by facts, as well as plain falsehoods. Following criticism of Biden, former President Barack Obama took to X to offer his support and defend him. Obama’s post drew attention from the former managing director of BharatPe, Ashneer Grover, who had just two words to say.
Obama conceded that the “bad debate night” had occurred, but he also stated that events like this are typical. The former president continued by saying that there would still be a choice in the US election between a candidate “who has fought for ordinary folks” throughout his life and a candidate “who only cares about himself.”
Obama continued by describing Biden as a truth-teller and morally grounded individual. He claimed that Trump “lies through his teeth” to further his interests.
“Last night didn’t change that, and it’s why so much is at stake in November.”

Grover, on the other hand, went all in with the Indian diss mode by saying, “Kuchh Bhi!”

While we Kuch-bhied others, who knew Grover would apply this for the former President of the US.
His comment, nonetheless, amassed 17,000 views on the social media platform.
A user humorously replied to Grover’s comment stating, “Arre Bhai aap idhar kya kar rahe ho?” (Hey brother, what are you doing here?)

Meanwhile, Grover is not the only one who thought the Democrats were covering up for Biden.
SpaceX and Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, also pitched in to “lol” them.
The official page of the party–The Democrats–took to X to self-proclaim Biden as the “winner of tonight’s debate.”
And Musk retweeted with a simple “lol”.

Seems like everyone is resorting to one-liners or less to express their views.
This debate took place much before the upcoming elections, owing in part to the Biden campaign.
One explanation is that they attempted to turn the spotlight to Trump early in the campaign season, seeking to remind American voters of the chaotic character of his presidency, as per BBC.
But after this debate, far more individuals will be discussing Biden’s performance than Trump’s.
