Ahmedabad Zomato Delivery Agent Hailed Hero For Delivering Food In Flooded Streets

A video of a Zomato delivery agent wading through knee-deep water to deliver food in Ahmedabad is going viral. The footage is from Ahmedabad, where heavy rains have flooded roads and streets.

However, the individual who posted the video praised the delivery agent’s dedication and urged Deepinder Goyal-led organisation to reward him. In response to the viral post, Zomato asked for details to identify the brave worker, as the company wanted to recognise and reward the superhero for their “extraordinary efforts.”

In the video, people are standing near the flooded street, while the delivery agent walks through the water without any complaints. The person filming the video can be heard admiring his dedication, despite the difficult and risky situation. The user wrote, “ZOMATO delivering in Ahmedabad amidst extremely heavy rains. Give this guy an award for providing delivery in extreme weather conditions.”

Soon after the video was shared, Zomato replied, “Thank you for highlighting our delivery partner’s extraordinary efforts. They truly went above and beyond, braving extreme weather like a superhero. To help us recognize and celebrate their efforts, could you please share the order ID or details about the area and timing of the delivery? This will ensure our superhero delivery partner gets the recognition they deserve.”

Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “This is individual effort. Zomato should not take any credit considering its history of behaviour with partners.”

An individual wrote, “Maan Gaye bhai well-done.”

One more added, “Ye jo order karte hain, unhe bhi sochna chahiye ki kaise koi itne pani me khana lekar ayega. Who bhi toh insan hai, uski majboori hai pahuchana.
