Munmun Dutta, who is known for playing the role of Babita Ji in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has revealed that she was supposed to travel to Israel. Recently, Munmun took to her Instagram stories and penned down a long note revealing that even though her tickets for Israel were booked, she had to postpone her plat at the last moment due to her TMKOC shoot schedule. Munmun admitted that even though she felt ‘sad’ initially, she is now convinced that a ‘higher power’ has saved her from ‘what could have potentially killed’ her.
“I am shuddering about the fact that I was supposed to be in Israel right now. My tickets were booked but had to postpone it for the next week as my night shift suddenly extended as there were a few extra scenes added,” Munmun wrote.
“As much as I felt sad then, I am absoutely convinced now that there was a higher power in play that served me from what could have potentially killed me. I don’t know what and how to express my gratitude. This reiterates the fact that there’s god and jo bhi hota hai acche ke liye hota hai. I hope Israel finds peace, the world finds peace,” she added.
Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha was also stranded in Israel after Hamas, a Palestinian Islamist militant group, attacked the country. She was unable to contact her team initially but reconnected with them on Sunday morning and informed them about her return.
On Tuesday, Nushrratt took to her soial media platforms and shared a video recalling 38 ‘daunting’ hours she spent in Israel. “The last week will forever remain etched in my memory…a rollercoaster ride of emotions, the final 36 hours of which will remain the most unforgettable and daunting of my life,” she said in a video she shared on her Instagram handle.
