India’s one of the most popular reality shows Bigg Boss has seen various prominent personalities hosting over the years, but Salman Khan has become fan favourites since he took over in season 4. His engaging style and charisma have won the hearts of many viewers. Recently, actor Gashmeer Mahajani, who returned to India after wrapping Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 in Romania, hinted about his interest in Bigg Boss but not as a contestant. During an Instagram QnA session, the Imlie star was asked by a fan if he would join the next season of the reality show. Responding to the query, the small screen star revealed his dream to join the show as host, rather than a contestant.
Interestingly, the actor is hopeful that this will someday become a reality in the future. After completing the stunt based reality show, there were rumours about Gashmeer possibly joining BB18. Following this buzz, a fan asked, “Next Station Bigg Boss?” However, Gashmeer delighted fans with his interesting response. He shared that while he would love to be part of Bigg Boss, but “I would like to host it someday. Let’s manifest.” This revelation left his fans impressed and many would be now curious to see him as the host.
After leaving Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal last year, Gashmeer Mahajani took a long break but made a strong comeback with his OTT debut in Gunaah. Later, he surprised fans by joining Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Interestingly, in an earlier interview with India Today, the TV actor revealed why he rejected the stunt based reality show three times before finally agreeing to join the upcoming season.
He said, “Earlier, I could not be a part of the show because I was shooting for something else. This time, they called me well in advance, and my dates were free. So, I blocked those dates for ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.”
Other than Gashmeer Mahajani, Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 will also feature Krishna Shroff, Asim Riaz, Abhishek Kumar, Shalin Bhanot, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Kedar Aashish Mehrotraa, Aditi Sharma, Karan Veer Mehra, Niyati Fatnani and Sumona Chakravarti.
Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor is hosting the season 3 of Bigg Boss OTT and Salman Khan is expected to return as host of Bigg Boss 18 later this year, after completing his shooting schedule.
