Pokemon Go Joystick Hack Might Get You Banned From The Game
Pokemon Go requires players to actually move around physically to catch a Pokemon or go to Pokestops for powerups, but not with the Joystick and Fake GPS hack.

Pokemon Go has to be the biggest game launch of 2016 as millions of smartphone users worldwide are going crazy to catch them all. The game is yet to be available in India officially but many are playing it by downloading the APK file that's readily available on the internet.

The augmented reality game requires players to actually move around physically to catch a Pokemon or go to Pokestops for power-ups. But lazy gamers have been trying to find a hack that will help them stay put and let their player move on the screen to do these tasks.

The most popular hack is the joystick hack coupled with a fake GPS app. But if you use it you might just get banned from the game. So it's entirely up to you whether you want to use it for your greed to collect all the Pokemons and risk it to get banned from the game.Pokemon Go works on the phones GPS signal. There are plenty of Fake GPS apps available on the Google Play store for you to fake the location of your player, you can even teleport your player to the Central Park in New York sitting in your home.

But this hack comes at a huge risk of you getting barred from playing the game. As you are logged into the game with your Gmail account or a Niantic account, the developers can actually see a sudden movement on your player especially when you teleport across long distances in a short span of time.

Because of the popularity of the game, the developers are also going out of the way to ensure that players don't use such hacks and gain an advantage over players who are true to the game.

At News18 Tech we tried the Fly GPS hack, for the first five minutes the hack worked perfectly. We could move our player with the help of the joystick and go to Pokestops to collect power-ups and also caught a few rare Pokemons on the loose. But, after a while, the game stopped responding to swipes on the Pokestops. Also, whenever there was a Pokemon around the moment you caught him with the Pokeball, it would escape and then run away from you.

It's measures like this that the game developers imposed to stop us from having an unfair advantage. We still kept on trying to restart both the apps and the phone, but we just could not access the game. We were blocked out of Pokemon Go.

But eventually when we deleted the Fly GPS app and didn't have a mock location app set on our phone, Pokemon GO came back to life with our real location and we could play it again.

So for now, there is no shortcut to play this game and we suggest take it as a fitness app and move around to catch all Pokemons.

What's your reaction?
