Amidst much anticipation, BlackBerry finally unveiled its first Android smartphone in the Indian market. The device, which CEO John Chen believes, would decide the company's stay in the smartphone industry. Seen as another attempt by the company to stay relevant in a market dominated by phones running on Google's Android and Apple's iPhones, the BlackBerry Priv banks on BlackBerry's legendary security and positions itself as "the secure smartphone powered by Android". The slider phone features the signature physical QWERTY keyboard which is touch-enabled for gesture and track pad navigation.
