New leaked sketches show rumoured 12-inch iPad could be thinner than original iPad Air
The latest sketches show the future iPad Pro having an overall bigger frame and more powerful internal hardware, yet be thinner than the original iPad Air.

New Delhi: Earlier leaks pointed to the next Apple iPad Pro to be relatively bigger in size and now, the latest leaks hint towards to the exact dimensions the tech giant's flagship tablet device could sport.

The next Apple iPad is yet to be announced, but the Web has been flooded with rumours and speculations, with the latest showing the exact measurements of the rumoured 12-inch device.

Spotted by French publication Nowhereelse, the industrial sketches, acquired by serial tech leaker, @OnLeaks, suggest that the iPad Pro is likely to have a screen with a diagonal of roughly 12.9 inches and be 305.70mm x 222.60mm.

It is expected to carry a thickness of 7.2mm, which is slightly more as compared to the iPad Air 2, but still lesser than the original iPad Air that was 7.5mm in thickness.

The latest sketches indicate that the future iPad Pro will have an overall bigger frame and more powerful internal hardware, yet be thinner than the original iPad Air.

The leaked images show the next iPad Pro cases being compared to the iPad Air 2 to establish that the new tablet will measure 307mm x 222mm. The tablet is also expected to have four speakers built into the ends of the bottom and top of the imposing shelf.

Earlier leaks showed the case of the rumoured device with openings for stereo speakers on the bottom and top of the case and an additional opening on the left side of the tablet for a possible new-age USB Type-C port. However, what Apple really has on offer can only be established once the company officially announces its next device.
