Aiming to move users to new Windows 10 computers, Microsoft has come up with a new trade-in program. Named Easy Trade Up, the program says to pay users $200 for their existing laptop and $300 on their MacBook if they buy a new Windows 10 machine.
The offer is valid on products that are purchased from a Microsoft Store in the US between October 14 and October 20 and have a minimum purchase price of $599. Once bought, users can submit their online trade-in claim here within 14 days of the date of your purchase.
Once the claim is approved, users can package up their old qualifying laptop or MacBook and send it to the company. According to Microsoft's trade-in program page, the amount will be paid within 28 days of validation of the claim.
The trade in offer is not applicable to products which originate outside the US.
