China-based manufacturer Meizu has launched a new smartphone - the Meizu MX 6 - that comes powered by a deca-core processor.
The phone features a 5.5-inch full HD display offering 1920 x 1080 resolution and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow layered with Meizu's own Flyme UI. The ten core MediaTek Helio X20 processor is clocked at 2.3GHz and is coupled with 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM.
It further includes a 12 megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual flash. This is coupled with a 5 megapixel front snapper with f/2.0 aperture.
The Meizu MX 6 draws its juice from a 3060mAh battery and comes with a 32 GB internal storage.
The phone is currently available only in Chinese market and is likely to be released in other markets.
This week, another Chinese smartphone maker, Zopo introduced its Zopo Speed 8 in India which is also powered by a deca-core processor.
