Samsung seems to have the new Galaxy Note 5 and the next-gen curved smartphone, S6 Edge Plus, up its sleeves for its Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event scheduled for August 13 (8.30 pm IST). While the South Korean giant has not yet revealed as to what it is going to announce at the event, rumours and leaks hint at the new flagship phablets from the company. Specualtions are rife that the Note 5 will have a 5.66-inch (2560 x 1440) display, a 16 megapixel rear camera, a 5 megapixel front camera, and will come powered by an octa-core Exynos 7420 chip. Samsung is also likely to release a QWERTY keyboard cover as an optional accessory for the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
Though the South Korean tech giant, like other companies, normally uses the consumer electronics show IFA in Berlin as a launchpad for new products, this year Samsung announced plans to hold a separate event a few weeks earlier. Let's see what actually the company announces. Follow the live blog and live stream of the event here.
