Is Microsoft working on a chat app for iPhone?
Flow by Outlook for iPhone has been designed for fast, light-weight conversations in real-time.

New Delhi: Microsoft is said to be working on a new chat app which could initially be introduced on iPhones and work as an extension of Microsoft’s Outlook inbox app.

Spotted by a Twitter user, WalkingCat @h0x0d, the app- Flow by Outlook for iPhone- has been designed for fast, light-weight conversations in real-time.

It will be sans subject lines, salutations, or signatures and will allow for quick communication with email contacts outside of your regular email inbox.

A report on The Verge notes that while Microsoft is yet to confirm its plans for Flow, the details seem plausible and the app would be to Outlook what Qik is to Skype.

If the app’s existence is to believed, it will require Outlook connection and will not function as a regular standalone chat app.
