At smartphone’s 10th anniversary, Apple is preparing to launch three new iPhones this fall. As per a report by Bloomberg, the company is planning to launch upgraded versions of current two iPhone models and a new flagship phone with an all-screen front, curved glass and a stainless steel frame and more advanced camera.

Apple is said to feature a Fingerprint scanner integrated into the OLED screen in the new iPhone, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.

The new iPhone lineup will be quite crucial for Apple as the company endured a sales slide due to retaining the same shape for the third year in a row. Apple’s new phone might face a tough competition due to the newly launched Samsung S8 line up.

For this new model, Apple is going the Samsung way and is aiming to reduce the overall size of the handset by integrating the home button into the screen itself via software, similar to S8.Also Read: Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ Launched in India Starting at Rs 57,900

As per the report, Apple suppliers have so far struggled to reliably produce heavily curved glass in mass quantities, so the company is more likely to ship the version with more subdued curves. So the company has tested multiple prototypes with manufacturing partners in Asia.

The new iPhone might come with the dual-camera system positioned vertically, according to people familiar with the matter. For the front-camera, Apple is testing dual-lenses. For this phone also apple will use components from Sony, as it has done in the past.

Apple usually launches new iPhone in September.

Bloomberg said Apple declined to comment.
