After iPhone 7 Price Release iPhone 6S Gets a Price Cut of Up to Rs 22,000 in India
Apple will be discontinuing the 16GB and 64GB storage version in India and replacing the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus with 32GB and 128GB storage options in India.

With the announcement of Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus India price, there has been a massive price cut on Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Apple has finally updated its India website with the prices of the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Apple at their September keynote had announced that the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will be coming to India on October 7 and the prices will start at Rs 60,000.

Now, the 128GB version of the iPhone 6S Plus is available at Rs 70,000. It was launched in India last year at a price tag of Rs 92,000. The Rs 22,000 price drop is one of the biggest one seen on an Apple iPhone till date.

The new prices of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are as follows:

iPhone 6S (32GB): Rs 50,000

iPhone 6S (128GB): Rs 60,000

iPhone 6S Plus (32GB): Rs 60,000

iPhone 6S Plus (128GB): Rs 70,000

This also means that Apple will be discontinuing the 16GB and 64GB storage version in India and replacing the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus with 32GB and 128GB storage options in India. The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus will also support Apple's latest operating system iOS 10.

Apple iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus runs on Apple's own A9 chip with 64-bit architecture and an embedded M9 motion coprocessor. This was also the first phone to come with Apple's 3D touch technology.
