Yash REACTS After 3 Fans Die of Electrocution During His Birthday Prep: 'This Makes Me Fear My...'
KGF actor Yash opened up about three fans who died by electrocuted while they were trying to put up birthday banners in his honour.

KGF actor Yash met with the families of the three fans who died during the preparation for his birthday. Yash turned 38 on Tuesday, January 8. To make his birthday memorable, a group of fans were erecting a 25-foot-cut out of the actor. However, three fans died by electrocution during the process, turning Yash’s birthday this year into a heartbreaking affair. On Monday, it was reported that Yash travelled to Karnataka’s Gadag district. Now, a video has surfaced showing the actor meeting the family.

The Kannada star also met with the media after his meeting and confessed that such incidents have started making him scared of his birthday. “If you wish me wholeheartedly, from wherever you are, that is the best gesture for me. Tragic incidents like these make me fear my birthday. This is not how you show fandom,” he said.

“Please don’t show your love like this. I want to request you all. Don’t hang banners, don’t do bike chases, and take dangerous selfies; my intention is for all of my audience and fans to grow in life as I do. If you are a true fan of mine, then do your work diligently, dedicate your life to yourself, and be happy and successful. You are the ones who mean everything to your families, you should aim to make them proud,” he added.

“I don’t like to demonstrate popularity by exhibiting the love of my fans. I will always keep the showcasing to a minimum even if my fans are upset about it. But my intention is not to disappoint anyone. If you respect me, then be responsible first. Parents are waiting for you at home. It is not about monetary support that one can extend, but we can not bring back the dead,” Yash said.

“This year, I didn’t want to celebrate my birthday because COVID cases are rising. There shouldn’t be any harm from our end. That’s why I kept it simple and decided to celebrate only with my family,” the actor explained. The actor was asked if he was planning to provide financial support to the family. The actor confirmed he would but chose not to delve into the details of it at the moment.
