The cinematographer of the film, Siddhartha Nuni, who is also working on Thalapathy Vijay’s next project with Venkat Prabhu, recently shared Vijay’s reaction after watching the trailer for Captain Miller.
As the cinematographer for both Captain Miller and Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film, Greatest of All Time (GOAT), Siddhartha Nuni disclosed Vijay’s positive response to the Captain Miller trailer. He stated, “Everybody (on the sets of GOAT) was hyped. I was a bit nervous. Even Vijay Sir has watched it and said he liked it and is very happy about it. He is rooting for the film. We will know in a week.”
Discussing his experience working on GOAT and shooting with Vijay, Nuni mentioned the demanding nature of the shoot, spanning three months, expressing his admiration for director Venkat Prabhu. Nuni revealed his immense respect for Venkat Prabhu’s earlier work, particularly citing Saroja, and considers it a significant honour to collaborate with the acclaimed director. Additionally, he expressed his delight at working with superstar Vijay, describing it as a pleasurable experience.
Captain Miller has garnered attention for its plot set in the pre-independence era. Dhanush portrays a rebel fighting against the British army, promising audiences a mass entertainer with a social message. The film features a stellar cast, including Priyanka Mohan, Shivarajkumar, Sandeep Kishan, Elango Kumaravel, and Aditi Balan in pivotal roles.
