Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1
A prequel to the 2022 Kannada mystical action thriller – Kantara – Kantara A Legend: Chapter One is written and directed by Rishab Shetty. The first look poster, unveiled in November, has generated significant excitement among audiences. Set to narrate events 400 years before its predecessor, the film is slated for release in the second half of 2024.

Kamal Haasan returns in one of the most anticipated sequels of 2024, Indian 2. Pushpa: The Rule
Continuing the legacy of Allu Arjun’s 2021 blockbuster, Pushpa: The Rise, the sequel, titled Pushpa: The Rule, is set for a 2024 release. Directed by Sukumar, the film features Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, and Sunil in prominent roles. With a scheduled release date of August 15th, 2024, the film is poised to create ripples at the box office.
Yatra 2
Mammootty’s critically acclaimed 2019 film Yatra gets a sequel helmed by Mahi V Raghav. Titled Yatra 2, the film boasts a stellar cast including Suhasini Maniratnam, Jagapathi Babu, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Sachin Khedkar, portraying significant roles.
Tillu Square
A romantic crime comedy and sequel to the 2022 film DJ Tillu, Tillu Square is directed by Mallik Ram. Siddhu Jonnalagadda, the writer and pivotal actor, leads the cast, including Anupama Parameswaran and others. The film is scheduled for release on February 9th, 2024.
Akhanda 2
Director Boyapati Sreenu has announced the sequel to the blockbuster film Akhanda titled Akhanda 2. Nandamuri Balakrishna reprises his role as the fiery Aghora, emphasising the relevance of Hinduism and Hindu temples.
