Sakharpuda is an engagement ceremony. In this ceremony, the soon-to-be bridegroom’s parents give a pack of sugar to the bride. On the other hand, the bride’s parents give a coconut and a coin to the future bridegroom. This signifies a promise made by the parents to solemnise the marriage of their children.

The couple also dropped glimpses from their wedding ceremony on December 20. Dressed in traditional attire, the newly-married couple exuded joy and elegance. Mugdha looked resplendent in a yellow and pink saree, while Prathamesh complemented her in a striking red kurta. The intimate ceremony was graced by close friends, Juilee Joglekar and Rohit Raut. They shared delightful glimpses of the celebration on social media, further adding to the excitement surrounding Mugdha and Prathamesh’s union.
