Rajendra Prasad, famously known as Nata Kireeti, has predominantly worked in Telugu films for more than four decades. He is an actor who brought the genre of comedy to life in its truest sense in the industry. He made his debut with the film Sneham in 1977. In his long career, he managed to give many hits. The veteran actor will next be seen in another drama, which is titled Laggam.
Recently, the pooja muhurat was organised by the makers of the film, which was attended by all the cast members. During the event, Rajendra Prasad talked to the media about the film and the makers.
Laggam was launched in Hyderabad. Veteran actor Rajendra Prasad spoke on the occasion and said, “I am playing a role that no one will ever forget. ‘Laggam’ is going to be unique. It is special that I am playing such a great role in this movie. This is the best in my career since ‘Pelli Pusthakam’. These stories will connect with all the Telugu people. The film is going to be a sumptuous meal for the audience.”
Laggam is directed by Ramesh Cheppala. During the event, he even interacted with the media and revealed that the film would be based on marriage. He added that marriage is not the meeting of two families. It is a meeting of two minds. As per reports, the shooting of the film started on February 5, and the project will be released by the end of 2024.
Sai Ronak, who will be seen in the lead role in the film, revealed that the whole team has worked hard and they are going to give the audience an unforgettable treat. Along with entertainment and emotions in this movie, the portrayal of the Telangana wedding culture and other aspects will remind everyone of their marriage. He added that the movie will inspire unmarried people to get married.
Apart from Sai Ronak and Rajendra Prasad, the film also stars Ganvi Laxman, Rohini, Saptagiri, LB Sreeram, Krishnudu, Raghu Babu, Raccha Ravi, Kanakavva, Vadlamani Srinivas, Kaveri, and others in important roles. The film is produced by Venugopal Reddy under Subhishi Entertainments.
