Anandhi tied the nuptial knot with her beau, filmmaker Socrates on January 7, 2021, in Warangal. The wedding was a private event and only close friends and family attended it. The actress recently said that the marriage hasn’t had any impact on her career. “We have known each other for four years and our friendship blossomed, so we decided to get married,” explained Anandhi to Deccan Chronicle. “Nothing has changed after marriage,” she said, adding that marriage won’t prevent her from signing films. Anandhi added that she has started to listen to more scripts after her wedding. According to the actress, she has been able to strike a perfect balance between her personal and professional life.
Anandhi has worked in many films to date but felt that Kayal (2014) is an important film in her acting career. She told this to She The People TV. Anandhi called it a heroine-centric film and said that it would motivate many people. She hoped that the film would reach the masses. Kayal, however, failed to entertain the viewers. The audience appreciated Anandhi’s acting chops. According to the critics, the audience could not connect emotionally with the characters portrayed on celluloid. Critics also mentioned the inclusion of unnecessary folk songs and scenes that didn’t add anything to the film.
