WB violence: TMC worker found dead

Kolkata: A TMC worker was killed on Saturday in the troubled West Midnapore district in West Bengal that has been facing political violence.

Locals allege that CPM cadres are responsible for the murder. The police investigation was on. The TMC worker was found dead on Saturday at Golator area of West Midnapore

The incident came just two days after Home Minister P Chidambaram wrote to West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, asking him to rein in armed Marxist cadres, also known as Harmad Vahini.
