'The One Who Will Have FIR on Him Will Become the CM' Says SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav
The SP chief also took this opportunity to launch an attack on the BJP government on issues pertaining to law and order, women, farmers, and youth of UP.

The 370-kilometer long Cycle Yatra by Samajwadi Party which started from Rampur culminated after nine days at the party headquarters in Lucknow on Saturday. The Cycle Yatra was started by SP Chief and former CM of the state Akhilesh Yadav on 12th March from Jauhar University in Rampur as a protest against the alleged atrocities on SP leader and Rampur MP Mohammad Azam Khan.

Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav not only welcomed the workers who participated in the cycle yatra at the party office on Vikramaditya Marg but also congratulated them for their hard work.

The SP chief also took this opportunity to launch an attack on the BJP government on issues pertaining to law and order, women, farmers, and youth of UP. Speaking to the media, Akhilesh Yadav said, “The Bharatiya Janata Party has intentionally filed cases against me,”

Akhilesh Yadav also targeted the statement made by CM Yogi Adityanath in which he compared the resolution letter of BJP to the sacred Geeta. Commenting on the matter, Akhilesh Yadav said, “I am deeply saddened to hear how Yogi Adityanath compared Bharatiya Janata Party’s resolution letter to the holy book Gita.”

Earlier, the SP Chief while flagging off the Cycle Yatra in Rampur had termed the day as historic and asserted that the campaign will result in a change of ‘political season’ and the government in the state. Speaking metaphorically, Yadav claimed that every time youth donning red caps take to the streets on cycles, the governments at the state-level are shaken.

“In 2011, when the cycle was ridden, the government of that time was wiped out the next year. The political season of the country and the nation too will definitely change with the cycle journey that begins from Rampur. The BJP government will not survive. It will go away for sure,” said Yadav.

Hinting at a conspiracy behind MP Azam Khan being booked in several cases, he said, “Khan and his family and all his associates have been prosecuted under serious sections. They have been implicated in false cases. Azam Khan is the only leader who has been persecuted so much. He made a brilliant educational institution like Jauhar University so that the future generations would benefit from it.”
