Shiv Sena calls MNS's toll tax agitation a 'drama by Congress-NCP'
Raj Thackeray met Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan on Thursday morning over toll taxes.

Mumbai: Attacking the Raj Thackeray-led MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) for its agitation againt toll tax, the Shiv Sena said it was just a publicity stunt. In an editorial written in the party mouthpiece Saamana, the Shiv Sena has alleged that Raj Thackeray's toll agitation is nothing but a drama scripted by the Congress-NCP alliance.

Meanwhile, Raj Thackeray met Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan on Thursday morning over toll taxes a day after massive agitation in Mumbai.

After the meeting Chavan said that a new toll collection policy will be ready within the next 15 days. According to the new policy electronic surveillance will be made mandatory to record exact road traffic.

The government will also make it mandatory for the toll operators to provide amenities including toilet facilities. Chavan government will also consider audit of toll booths that are disputed
