New Delhi: To mark the first anniversary of Narendra Modi government at the Centre, several senior union ministers will be going on a rally blitzkrieg on Tuesday. This comes after The Prime Minister himself held a rally in Mathura on Monday to speak on the achievements of his government in the past one year.
More than 50 rallies are scheduled to take place on Tuesday including Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah's rally in Karnal, Home Minister Rajnath Singh's rally in Kolkata and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in Bhopal.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is scheduled to hold a press conference in Ahmedabad. Amit Shah will also address the press in Delhi. A series of rallies, besides 5,000 public meetings across the country, are being organised as part of the Jan Kalyan Parv celebrations planned by BJP to mark the Modi government's one year in office.
As the Modi government completes one year in power, the Prime Minister on Tuesday addressed the people of India through a letter highlighting the achievements and policy direction of his government. He has said that his government has been successful in ending the policy paralysis and rejuvenating the economy and is committed to work for the poor or marginalised of India.
He added that one of the biggest achievements of his government has been to restore faith in the government. He claims that his aim is to transform the quality of life of the people of India.
