New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagat has asked his party workers not to take partin a personality-driven campaign. Bhagwat said it is not the RSS's job to chant 'NaMo, NaMo'.
Bhagawat added that the organisation should maintain limits while campaigning for the BJP for the upcoming polls.
RSS had backed Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as BJP's prime ministerial candidate and also praised him in the recently concluded RSS meet in Bangalore.
There has been an infighting within the BJP over the seat distribution. There were reports that Modi wanted to contest elections from senior party leader Murli Manohar Joshi's Varanasi constituency.
The party has, however, downplayed the rift and said no decision has been taken on the seats.
