Ahmedabad: Former Gujarat DGP RB Sreekumar, who joined the Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday, has said that he joined AAP as the rotten elite is presently ruling India's political, social, religious and cultural establishments. Asked about Narendra Modi and his personal legal battle against the Gujarat government, Sreekumar said that he is against Narendra Modi's mindset and his RSS background.
He added that just two police inspectors from the police establishment have been arrested for the 2002 communal riots and such large scale riots could have happened only after connivance at the top most level. Asked if he would contest Lok Sabha elections on an AAP ticket, Sreekumar said that he will cross the bridge after reaching it.
RB Sreekumar said, "We will cross the bridge after reaching it. Let the proposal come. Whatever the party says, I will do".
Commenting on Modi he said, "Narendra Modi has not been given a full clean chit yet. Only the magisterial court has. Criminal liability has no limit. I have a problem with Modi's mindset, the software in his mind and his years of association with the RSS. That is wrong. If Modi puts on another software the software of the constitution of India, then I will go and ask votes for him".
