New Delhi: Her father LK Advani may have had reservations on the PM candidature of Narendra Modi, but Pratibha feels the Gujarat strongman will "definitely" occupy the top post and it will be "good" for the country.
Asserting that it was time for change, Pratibha Advani said people of the country will get to see the "change" after the elections.
"There is no doubt that Narender Modi will become the Prime Minister which will be good for the country. In this election, BJP is going to form government at the Centre," she said.
Pratibha was speaking to reporters after casting her vote at a polling station in Lodhi Estate area in New Delhi constituency.
Advani does not share the best of vibes with Modi and is said to have had reservations about making the Gujarat Chief Minister BJP's Prime Ministerial nominee.
However, Advani on Monday had said the outcome of no other election has been influenced so much by the announcement of a prime ministerial candidate as they have been this time by declaration of Narendra Modi's name.
Pratibha said people of the country were looking at BJP to provide a stable government.
"I want India to get a stable government for which I have voted today. I am confident that BJP will get more than 272 seats," she said.
Accusing UPA of being involved in massive corruption, she said people are yearning for good-governance.
"Today, corruption is the biggest issue. The country has seen massive corruption in the few years. Dada (Advani) had launched several campaigns against corruption and his Jan Chetna Yatra was also against graft and black money," she said.
Asked about Aam Aadmi Party, she said though it performed well in the Delhi Assembly election, the popularity of the fledging party had gone down in the last few months.
