The BJP's government in Karnataka has been in trouble since its first chief minister BS Yeddyurappa was forced to quit over graft charges.
New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will on Tuesday start probing corruption charges against former Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa in connection with the mining scam.
"The Supreme Court has ordered a specific probe against Yeddyurappa. It is about the funding received by an NGO run by Yeddyurappa's family. The NGO was funded by mining and industrial companies," a CBI official said.
