Some iOS users who install the latest update from the App Store can enjoy a fresh interface with new colours and icons

WhatsApp, the popular Meta-owned instant messaging platform, is reportedly rolling out a redesigned interface with new colours and icons. However, it is available to a limited number of users for now.

With the tweaked interface, this instant messaging application is aiming to make the user experience more modern and visually appealing, since the app hadn’t received updates for the interface in quite some time.

The report from WABetaInfo revealed that the official changelog still mentions some features released in the previous updates regarding the ability to find and follow channel, announced with the WhatsApp for iOS 23.20.79 update.

“However, even though it’s not mentioned in the official changelog on the App Store, we can also confirm that a limited number of users can finally experiment with the new interface, that was previously exclusive to some beta testers,” said WABetaInfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp.

According to the report, the new interface includes a new green colour as the main tint color of the app. In addition, redesigned icons are available within the app settings and the chat info screen. If you don’t have this feature, note that some accounts may receive it over the coming weeks.

To make sure you get a new feature in the future, please keep your WhatsApp updated through the App Store and the TestFlight app. Some iOS users who install the latest update from the App Store can enjoy a fresh interface with new colours and icons, enhancing your user experience.

Meanwhile, another report recently revealed that the Meta-owned app is working on a feature to share voice messages and stickers in channels. Now, it will be possible to share voice messages in your channels.

Currently, it is possible to share a very limited number of message types within channels, such as text messages, photos, videos, and GIFs. With this feature, users will be able to send additional types of messages within their channels.
