Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer all moved up in the ICC ODI batsmen rankings with Shubman Gill sitting pretty at number 1 spot, Mohammed Siraj slips to number 2 spot in bowlers' ranking.

Indian stalwarts Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul all rose in the latest ICC ODI rankings, while Shubman Gill continued to hold onto his number 1 crown in the latest set of rankings released on Tuesday. Ahead of the two semifinals of the World Cup 2023, the musical chairs for the top spots in men’s batsmen and bowlers’ rankings continued as Mohammed Siraj lost the number 1 crown he has taken over from Pakistan ace Shaheen Shah Afridi. South African spin wizard Keshav Maharaj replaced Siraj at the top of the pile, while the Indian slipped to second place, just three ranking points behind the veteran spinner.

After replacing Babar Azam as the world’s number 1 ranked ODI batter, Shubman smashed a fifty against the Netherlands to hold onto the numero uno spot. Behind him, the Pakistan skipper remains in second place trailing Gill by 8 rating points. South African wicketkeeper batter is in third place while fellow Indian legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma complete the top five, after their respective half-centuries as the Indian captain rose one spot in the latest rankings.
