SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2021: Admit Card to be Released Soon
The SSC will release the original admit card of the GD constable prelims exams four days before the entrance test is held.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the admit cards of the GD constable exam 2021 soon on its official website — ssc.nic.in. According to the official notification issued by the SSC, the admit cards of the candidates will be released two weeks before the date of the examination. The examination is scheduled to start from November 16, hence the provisional admit cards can be expected to be issued around November 1.

The admit cards will contain the information of the exam date and the centre allotted to an individual. The commission will release the original admit card of the candidates four days before the exam.

The recruitment board of commission had invited applications for SSC GD constable exam from July 17 to August 31. The candidates will have to first appear for a written exam. The exam is scheduled to be held from 16 November to 15 December. Through this recruitment drive, as many as 25,271 vacancies will be filled in the BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF, and rifleman in Assam rifles. The registration process for the same is still on and will close on August 31.

The exam will be held in English and Hindi. The prelims exam will be a computer-based exam featuring objective-type and multiple-choice questions (MCQs). It will contain 100 questions carrying 100 marks. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer — this rule has been introduced this year only.

Those who make it through all three rounds — prelims, mains and personality test will be selected for the posts. They will get a pay scale ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100.

Meanwhile, the central government is working on setting up a National Recruitment Agency (NRA) that will conduct common recruitment exams for gobvernment jobs such as SSC, RRB, and IBPS. A common entrance test (CET) for recruitment across all posts will be held twice a year. There will be different CETs each based on educational qualifications. IT will be conducted in 12 major Indian languages including Hindi and English.
