SSC CHSL 2021 Notification Out: Check Eligibility, Exam Pattern, How to Apply, Salary
SSC CHSL 2021 notification released at ssc.nic.in. The application process will continue till March 7. Class 12 pass looking for government jobs can apply.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) notification today – February 1 at the official website, ssc.nic.in. The application process has also begun with the release of notification. Interested candidates can apply for SSc CHSL till March 7 at ssc.nic.in. Candidates can pay the fee in online mode till March 8, 11 pm. The last date and time for the generation of offline challan is March 9.

The CHSCL will be a two-tier exam. The tier-1 exam will be held in May. The exact date are not yet announced. The SSC CHSL exam is conducted to higher lower divisional clerks, junior secretariat assistants, data entry operators, postal assistants across ministries and government offices.

SSC CHSL 2021: Eligibility

Education: Applicants should have cleared at least class 12 from a recognised board.

Age: Applicant should be at least 18 to be eligible to apply. The upper age is 27 years. The upper age will be relaxed as per the government norms are also offered.

SSC CHSL Notification 2021: Exam Pattern

To be eligible for these posts candidates have to clear tier-I, descriptive paper, skill test, or type test. Only those who clear the tier-I exam will be eligible for the next round. The tier-I computer-based exam consists of objective-type, multiple-choice questions only. For every wrong answer, students lose 0.50 marks and for every right answer, they are given two marks. Tier-II Paper will be a descriptive paper of 100 marks in ‘pen and paper’ Mode. The duration of the descriptive paper will be for one hour.

Candidates need to pay a fee of Rs 100.

SSC CHSL Notification 2021: Salary

Those selected for the posts of lower division clerk (LDC) and junior secretariat assistant will get salaries in the range of Rs 19,900-63,200. Postal assistant, the sorting assistant will be paid in the range of Rs 25,500-81,100. Those selected at the post of Data Entry Operator (DEO) will be hired at a salary of Rs 25,500-81,100.4 Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’ will get Rs 25,500 – Rs 81,100.
