Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna’s son Aarav turns a year older today. On his special day, mommy Twinkle shared a bundle of happy photos of her son and penned a heartwarming note which read, “All of 21 and technically a grown man! Raising a child is a bit like building a house and designing each room.”
She explained, “You do the best you can, and finally, it’s time to hand over the house to its rightful owner who will rearrange the furniture the way they like and pay the bills as well:) Happy birthday my son, and may your unfailing kindness continue bringing a smile to everyone who knows you.”

The first photo featured the mother-son duo donning their brightest smiles. The other photo featured their baby boy from his childhood days.
21-year-old Aarav is known to stay away from the public eye. He is not an active social media user, having only five posts on his Instagram handle. Earlier, Akshay Kumar, in an interview, revealed that his son wished to curtain himself from the paparazzi.
Akshay and wife Twinkle Khanna welcomed Aarav into their lives in 2002, just a year after they got married. They also have a ten-year-old daughter, Nitara.
After appearing in films like Baadshah, Joru Ka Ghulam, Mela, and International Khiladi, Twinkle retired from acting in 2001. She is currently pursuing Masters in Fiction Writing at the prestigious Goldsmiths, University of London.
Akshay on the other hand was last seen in OMG 2. The film turned out to be a massive entertainer as well as a box office success. He is now gearing up for Mission Raniganj with Parineeti Chopra. The film produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Ajay Kapoor, is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. It will be released in theatres on October 6, 2023.
